Chiefs' Damien Williams will play, Hill out vs. Colts
One Kansas City Chiefs offensive starter will return this week while two others are not yet ready to come back from injury.
Running back Damien Williams will play in Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, head coach Andy Reid announced Friday. However, receiver Tyreek Hill will miss his fourth straight game and left tackle Eric Fisher will also not suit up.
Williams has been a full participant in practice this week. He missed the past two contests with a knee injury after starting the first two games of the year.
The sixth-year pro has averaged just 1.5 yards on 22 carries, but he has nine receptions for 87 yards and one rushing score. Offseason signee LeSean McCoy leads the team in rushing with 214 yards and two scores.
Hill suffered a shoulder injury in the opening game of the season. He was a limited participant in three practices this week, so his return could be imminent.
Fisher didn't practice this week as he continues to nurse a groin injury that has kept him out the past two contests.
The undefeated Chiefs face the 2-2 Colts on Sunday Night Football.
