Absolutely New to Zorin 15, Now Lost Wi Fi Connection
by Cardinale from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4S2T3)
Good Afternoon everyone,
I've been using Windows all these years. Now I have to familiarise myself at least a little with Zorin, which is basically Linux trying to be Windows-on-the-surface. (Thanks so much for the effort, Linux users, but where's my Network and Sharing Centre in Zorin's Notifications Tray?).
Just managed (mostly by good luck) to install Zorin OS 15 on VMWare in Windows 7 and the system promptly lost its Internet connection.
I created a new VM, reinstalled Zorin, had the Internet for one day. Next morning, no net connection.
I use portable wi fi Internet, no Ethernet, on Win 7. No Network and Sharing Centre in Zorin's notifications tray.
Grateful in advance for step by step guidance. Baby Linux to get a Win 7 user started. I need to know how to reach the menu where I can add in my wi fi name and password so Zorin can connect and hopefully, stay connected. Thank you all very much.
Regards,
Cardinale
