Strange Akregator Problem on 14.2

I'm not a big fan of Akregator, but I've found it quite serviceable and have been using it for some time on both my Mageia and my Slackware machine.
Recently, on the Slackware box, Akregator 4.14.10 has stopped displaying posts. It will show the feeds and state that there are posts in the feeds, but, when I click on a feed, the posts are not visible.
I tried deleting the feeds and re-importing my feed list (*.opml). Then I tried deleting the feed list, deleting ~/.kde/share/apps/akregator, rebooting, and restarting Akregator. It recreated the directory listed above and started with the default feed list, but the problem persists. Here's a screenshot:

As you can see, most of the feeds indicate that posts are present, but the only feed where the post titles are visible is the Linux.com feed.
I also could not find anything in the /var/log referencing Akregator.
This is not a serious issue for me. I found an excellent Firefox plugin that enables me to read RSS feeds within the browser and there are other feed readers out there, but I must admit, I'm awfully curious. Also, Akregator is still working fine on my Mageia computer.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to what else I might try to figure out what went wrong?
