The Jalen Ramsey trade watch is officially over.

The Los Angeles Rams acquired the star cornerback from the Jacksonville Jaguars for two first-round picks - one in 2020 and one in 2021 - and a 2021 fourth-rounder, the teams announced Tuesday.

Ramsey appeared pleased with the news, posting a picture to his Twitter account.

Ramsey is currently battling a back injury and returned to practice on a limited basis last week. He last played in Jacksonville's Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans after asking for a trade in mid-September.

The two-time Pro Bowler recently reiterated his desire to be dealt despite participating in team activities, though owner Shahid Khan initially claimed the team wouldn't honor his request.

Khan expected Ramsey to play in the Jaguars' Week 6 tilt against the New Orleans Saints after a "heart-to-heart" conversation, but the young defensive back ended up missing his third straight contest.

The Jaguars released a statement Wednesday morning explaining their side of the trade:

Drafted fifth overall in 2016, Ramsey is tied to his rookie contract through the 2020 campaign. He'll join a Los Angeles team that recently placed Aqib Talib on injured reserve and traded Marcus Peters to the Baltimore Ravens.

The trade continues general manager Les Snead's recent habit of trading high draft picks for top-tier players; the Rams have now dealt their first-round selections in five consecutive drafts:
