[SOLVED] which log file has startup error messages in it and where is it
by Captain Brillo from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4SRFX)
Basic question I thought I knew the answer to - but don't.
Running Manjaro Cinnamon and getting a consistent "dependency" error about a uuid at the very beginning of booting in Manjaro.

Can't find that UUID in blkid either..??
I can't find a file called "boot.log" or "syslog" or anything similar. Every source I've looked at (2 books, multiple sites incl. this one) are saying things just differently enough to tie me in knots here. There's supposed to a "syslog" entry in the menu, but it isn't there
Any help, pls?
