Trubisky questionable for Saints game after 3 'good days' of practice
Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was listed as questionable on the final injury report of Week 7 due to the left shoulder ailment he suffered three weeks ago.
"I like where he's at," head coach Matt Nagy said Friday, according to Larry Mayer of ChicagoBears.com. "So far, he's stacked good days together."
Trubisky was a full participant in practice for the third consecutive day, opening the door for a possible return versus the New Orleans Saints. On Wednesday, Nagy said he was "cautiously optimistic" the pivot would be ready to play against the Saints.
The 25-year-old went down on Sept. 29 against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Bears got past the Vikings with Chase Daniel leading the offense, but he lost to the Oakland Raiders the following week. They were on their bye in Week 6.
In four appearances this season, Trubisky has thrown for 588 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.
