How to change icons induvidually? Debian|XFCE
by drum159 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4SWXD)
Hello :),
I would like to know if there is any way to change icons individually (one by one)
Since debian 10.00 in xfce properties I cannot change the icon anymore, this is a big problem here.. (although it was perfectly suited for me, and superfast)
I use to have a choice beween: 'Linux File Permissions en Ownership', and 'open with', and since recently the 3rd option 'icons' is gone. (in Nemo)
Changing the .desktop file everytime is a big hassle, I do not agree with that. Gnome-tweak-tool does not help in this case (and it takes forever).
ANY solution is fine by me, even moving to another distro.. (I use debbie since 1.1)
I just want to be able to change the icon of any file like I use to, the best would be to get that option back in (any) filebrowser. But how..? Anyone?
Please hand a solution, I'm getting really desperate
Thanks :)
