Gruden: Jacobs questionable vs. Texans with 'legitimate' shoulder injury
Oakland Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans due to a shoulder injury, head coach Jon Gruden said Wednesday, according to Scott Bair of NC Sports Bay Area.
"He's got a legitimate shoulder (injury)," said Gruden. "He got hurt in the Green Bay (Packers) game, had it shot up. He's still very sore and we'll list him as questionable for the game."
Jacobs sat out Wednesday's practice because of the ailment.
The first-round pick has racked up 554 rushing yards (which ranks eighth in the league) and two touchdowns in his first six career games.
If Jacobs can't play, Oakland will rely on the tandem of DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard.
