KDE5 - file applications-kmenuedit.menu not exist
by zdolar from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4T40F)
HI!
Slackware64-current fressh install 20.10.2019.
I installed Ktown KDE5 5.19.10 - the last one.
Wanted to add an item to program menu.
At save the answer was:
Code:Menu changes could not be saved...
Could not write to /root/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu.There is no folder /root/.config/menus and also
Code:find / -name applications-kmenuedit.menu returns none.:banghead:
The same happens when try as a regular user.
There is no place where menu entries are saved. KDE menu editor - there is no option, where to save, or "save as".
