newbie

Hola,

I know next to nothing about Linux other than I use a user friendly ubuntu-something-or-other a busy out-of-town friend set up for me on a mini laptop which I from time to time enter my password for automatic updates/upgrades.

But now recently it asked me to manual run somthing, so....now I have to start learning. About time, I guess.

Ideally I'd have a paper reference manual off to the side. you know.... rtfm
