Report: Lions only team to make offer for Chris Harris
The Detroit Lions were the only team to make an offer for Denver Broncos Pro Bowl cornerback Chris Harris Jr., Mike Klis of 9News reports.
However, the two sides were unable to come to an agreement before the 4 p.m. ET trade deadline, as the Lions weren't willing to go as high as a third-round pick for Harris, Klis adds.
The Broncos reportedly wanted a second-round pick for the former All-Pro.
Harris is in the final year of his contract with the 2-6 Broncos and seems to be looking forward to the remaining nine weeks of the season.
Talked to Chris Harris Jr. on no trade: "I'm definitely happy, Now I can just play ball and get this behind me and focus on finishing strong the rest of the year. Try and get some wins." #9sports

Denver traded receiver Emmanuel Sanders earlier in the week, but Harris and elite pass-rusher Von Miller remain with the Broncos past the deadline.
