Week 9 of the NFL season opens Thursday when the undefeated San Francisco 49ers travel to take on the Arizona Cardinals. Here are the best player props for the NFC West tilt.

Kyler Murray under 215.5 passing yards

This looks like a pretty soft number. The Cardinals are 10-point underdogs and should be in passing situations, so you'd think Murray could get there, possibly in garbage time. But it scares me how the script has played out in similar situations. Remember when Baker Mayfield and the Browns went down 14-0 to San Francisco and were in a hole the entire game? Cleveland's quarterback finished with a whopping 100 passing yards. The following week, the 49ers held Rams quarterback Jared Goff to 78 yards. And just last Sunday, the Niners allowed 158 passing yards to Carolina's Kyle Allen despite holding a comfortable lead virtually the entire game.

San Francisco's defense suffocates from start to finish, ranking No. 1 in yards per completion allowed and explosive pass rate success. The unit hasn't given up more than 200 yards to an opposing quarterback since Week 2.

Whether there's a full half of garbage time or just one drive, the 49ers won't give an inch to Murray in the passing game.

Murray over 28.5 rushing yards

I think this is a sneaky great prop bet to look at. The Cardinals' front will be tested against a 49ers defense that is No. 1 in adjusted sack rate this season. But with the pocket potentially closing quicker than normal, don't be surprised if Murray flashes his dual-threat abilities. He's averaging 34.8 rushing yards per game this season and the 49ers' pass rush will likely force him outside the pocket more than usual.

Larry Fitzgerald under 44.5 receiving yards

The 49ers have been good at taking away the favorite target of opposing quarterbacks. Here are the stat lines for No. 1 receivers facing the Niners' secondary in recent weeks:

D.J. Moore: 5 catches, 38 yards
Terry McLaurin: 1 catch, 11 yards
Cooper Kupp: 4 catches, 17 yards
Odell Beckham Jr.: 2 catches, 27 yards

Fitzgerald is the leading receiver on the Cardinals, but he should get a heavy dose of Richard Sherman on Thursday. The veteran receiver comes into this game in somewhat of a cold spell, netting just 20 yards on three catches over the last two weeks.
