firefox in FreeBSD - annoying feature

Hello,
I have small problem with firefox installation in FreeBSD:
scrolling up in firefox invokes Page Back.
This is the only OS with this problem in firefox.
It is persistenb because NomadBSD (USB version of FreeBSD) has exactly the same issue.
Not present in any of the linux distros, Openindiana or OpenBSD.
I wonder if there is a way to correct this problem?
