Unable to configure Nagios monitoring of NetApp HCI Solidfire - snmpwalk is working but how to retrieve storage information

Have download the MIBs from the Solidfire management GUI. Been able to run a snmpwalk from the nagios server without issues (ie. the 2 end-points are communicating)
However, I can't retrieve the datastore information from the storage node/MVIP.
Can this be done? I've search the Nagios site and there's no plug-in available for the HCI Solidfire model (yet).
The Nagios server is running Centos 7.
Any help/pointers would be greatly appreciated.
