HDMI with new computer not working

Recently upgraded my system from a Dell Optima to a MSI X570. Was using My TV as a monitor, Linux Mint 19.1 worked perfectly. With the new rig I have no sound and it displays the monitor as a laptop display. I'm now running a MSI X70 Edge with an AMD 3200G CPU, no other graphics card. 16 Gig of RAM. Any help with drivers or what would be a great help. Ubuntu 19.10 works just fine, I just prefer Mint. Please help.
