MATE screen flickering when I resume from screensaver.

Hi.
Today, I noticed my Debian 10 MATE 1.20.2 install has bad screen flickering when I resume from the screensaver. I use the nouveau drivers with an Nvidia GeForce GTX650 GPU.
Any ideas? A logout/in sorts it but is there an easier fix?
