Bodhi 5.0 vs. 5.1

A short while ago someone posted that a 5.0 installation, when fully updated, reports as v.5.1.
:confused: Is there any difference between getting 5.1 in this way, and what one would get by waiting and installing a Bodhi 5.1 iso, when that becomes available?
