Everyday distro for security and privacy?

Hi Everyone,
Hope you can give me advice on this, please.
I have been reviewing a few distros for everyday use (I am not talking about Tails, Quebs, Whonnix, Subgraph OS, etc.), looking particularly for one that balances stability (in terms of very few/no bugs, crashes, strange behaviour), security, and privacy. Based on those premises, I have a few options, but I am not sure about which one to choose, so I would like you to give me your opinions on those (or any other you may suggest), please: Debian (stable), PureOS, ElementaryOS, Linux Mint (Cinnamon or Debian Edition).
I also considered other two options that I discarded for different reasons:
- Parrot OS: it is focused on 'testing' security issues but I don't really know whether it is also security/privacy-oriented itself.
- Linux Kodachi: I found some reviews critizising the lack of transparency of the project (one-man project, no information about VPN logs, software apparently 'sending data home', etc.).
Besides, I would like to stick with a (more) widely supported distro as the ones cited above.
