Want to Try OpenSUSE 15.1, but I Can't
by salmanal from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4TNAD)
I'd like to just blow up this HP Envy laptop. While experimenting with different distros; by mistake, I put the regular OpenSUSE installation DVD in the optical drive I'd like to try Open SUSE with, and I ejected it. Big mistake, I now get "Error ...grub-core/kern/disck.c:258:no such partition." I tried entering "LS," and "Boot," but they both returned, "No such command." grub rescue
I have a OpenSuse 15.1 live DVD in the external DVD drive. The internal optical drive is empty.
The last system that worked is a live DVD of Fedora 31; again, this was in the external optical drive.
Is there a way to reboot the laptop from this error screen?
