gnucash find option not working
by aikempshall from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4TR6Q)
Using 14.2.
I've downloaded gnucash 3.7 from slackbuilds.org.
Builds successfully.
Virtually all the functionality works except
Edit -> Find
There is nowhere to enter the search criteria on which to find. It looks to me that the line where one would enter this criteria has been squashed to almost nothing.
I've uninstalled and tried again with the same result.
Have all the correct dependencies

Also tried gnucash 3.7 on 14.2+ updated with alienbob's ktown. Works perfectly there.
Are there any other gnucash users out there experiencing the same problem?
