Free-agent wide receiver Dez Bryant tweeted Wednesday that he'll begin searching for a team to sign with in two weeks and will accept a smaller role than he's accustomed to.

"I'm not trying to go nowhere and be a starter on a team," he wrote. "I want to contribute because I know I will be able to... I'm feeling good... in two weeks I'm going to reach out to teams and see what happens.... let's go X."

Bryant has spent the last 12 months rehabbing from a ruptured Achilles he suffered in his first practice as a member of the New Orleans Saints. The three-time Pro Bowler signed a one-year deal with the Saints in November 2018 after the Dallas Cowboys released him prior to that season.

A year ago, the Saints were reportedly interested in bringing Bryant back once he recovered from his Achilles injury, but no teams have been linked to him more recently.

Bryant, who turned 31 on Nov. 4, posted 838 yards and six touchdowns over a full season with the Cowboys in 2017. The Oklahoma State product has posted 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns through the air in 113 career games.
