The Guardian will be reporting from Stirling next week ahead of the General Election, as part of a series of pieces from across the country focused on finding out what matters to the people who live there. For example, Scottish Tory MP Stephen is defending one of the smallest majorities in the UK, of just 148 votes, against high profile SNP candidate Alyn Smith. Will the contest be dominated by Brexit and independence or more local issues?
