Report: Cowboys' Cooper expected to play vs. Vikings on SNF
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is expected to play in Sunday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings despite being listed as questionable due to knee and ankle injuries, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
An MRI on Cooper's knee Monday revealed a bruise. He was a limited participant in practice this week, missing only Thursday's team session.
The 25-year-old's availability is a major boost for the Cowboys in a matchup with a Vikings defense allowing just 225.1 passing yards per game, the eighth-lowest total in the NFL.
Operating as Dak Prescott's top target since landing with Dallas in a midseason trade from the Oakland Raiders last year, Cooper has racked up an impressive 95 catches for 1,426 yards and 12 touchdowns across 17 regular-season games.
The Cowboys, coming off a Week 9 win over the New York Giants, sit atop the NFC East at 5-3.
