Linux permission on davfs2 file system

I'm mounting a davfs2 (version 1.4.7-6) filesystem /WebDav with the following permissions:
drwxrwx---. 4 <owner> <group> 104 Nov 11 10:22 /WebDAV
The <owner> is able to do everything but if a user tries to access the same folder access is denied. Even though the user belongs to the <group>.
How come?
