Seattle Seahawks receiver Tyler Lockett was hospitalized after Monday night's game against the San Francisco 49ers with swelling caused by a lower leg contusion, but his prognosis is positive.

"He should be OK," Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said on 710 ESPN Seattle Tuesday morning, according to Adam Jude of the Seattle Times.

"It shouldn't be a big problem going forward. ... There's concern there could be some complications when you have something like that."

There were fears Lockett could have compartment syndrome, but Carroll appeared to dismiss that possibility.

Lockett will get extra time to heal as the Seahawks enter a bye week.
