Usb SSD disk not detected on Ubuntu 18.04

Hi,
I took a 60GB ssd disk to be used with a raspberry pi, instead of the microSD, via the SupTronics X820 board.
I mounted the disk on the board and connected it to my system with Ubuntu 18.04 to be able to install the raspbian.
Unfortunately the disc is not recognized.
Giving the command Code:cat /proc/partitions I don't see any new disk neither using gparted o fdisk.
Giving the command Code:lsusb this is the result:
