Asus n580GD fedora installation
by ivnit from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4VF42)
Hi all,
I did not find a post about my problem, so, trying to write here.
My goal is to install fedora on an Asus N580GD notebook.
Win10 is already installed on a 512 GB SSD, so I would like to create a dual boot configuration, keeping win10 in a smaller partition and fedora in a larger one.
Problem is that, when I start fedora from an USB pen, it starts, but after a while, the screen becomes black, and nothing happens. I can boot fedora in debug mode. FYI, before booting by the usb pen, I have disabled the fast boot and the Secure boot, in bios (UEFI).
I suspect the problem is the graphic card (the laptop has the internal intel graphic card and an nvidia 1050). I don't find a way to disable the internal graphic adapter in Bios.
Any idea about how to understand what is happening? Maybe I am wrong about graphical adapter!!!
Thank you all
