(repair) chroot to reinstall efi grub how to?
by BW-userx from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4VKZB)
I moved some partitions around, and it was working fine until I booted into Window so I could have it take some space to make it its own then I got grub rescue> after I rebooted from that maneuver.
I need to reinstall efi grub to fix it, I have a slackware live w/persistence that is not efi boot. (which I am in right now) I've never had to chroot efi to reinstall grub, normal chroot install grub, yes, but not efi ...
do I need to boot a live with efi ? and anything else one can tell me to get this done.
thanks.
