Dwayne Haskins was just a little bit excited about his first career NFL victory.

After an interception from the Washington Redskins' defense effectively sealed Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions, only a kneel-down in the victory formation was needed to make it official.

However, the rookie quarterback was already in full celebration mode with the home fans, so veteran backup Case Keenum took the field to close it out.

"We were looking for him," head coach Bill Callahan said of Haskins afterward, according to Stephen Whyno of The Associated Press. "I think he thought the game was over."

Dwayne Haskins said he thought the game was over and he'll "get 'em next time."

"I was so hyped I thought I broke a water bottle."

For the day, Haskins completed 13 of 29 passes for 156 yards. It was another tough game in what's been a rocky start for the first-round pick, but he made several plays on the game-winning drive to get Washington in position for the kick.
