Capcha Craziness &c.

I tried to post to my LQ Blog tonight and, each time I clicked to preview my post, I had to complete that stupid and annoying "click on the picture that includes [thing]" capcha.

Why is not one time enough? (Also, why not get a less annoying capcha?)

The &c is this: The material I wanted to post was copied from a page on my personal website. The length of my draft post was deemed to be beyond the allowed number of characters for an LQ blog post.

Having a limit is fine with me, but I do not like to post links to my personal site here because I'm not here to advertise, I'm here to learn. However, this material--the Project Files rc.firewall script for Slackware--is relevant to recent discussions at this site. Would it be acceptable for me to make an LQ blog post describing the material and linking to the relevant page at my site?
