Laptop long press power button for shutdown.

I run slackware64 current with KDE4 on my laptop but i got one thing that bothers me and that is that if i touch the power button it starts to shut down.
My power button is located among the keyboard as the most upper right button and some times i press it by mistake and it immediately starts to shutdown even if i only press it for 0,2 of a second.
I would like to have to long press the power button for e few seconds for it to engage shutdown, how do i change the behavior of my power button?
