Lamar Jackson made Madden history Tuesday when EA Sports announced the Baltimore Ravens quarterback would become the fastest player at his position in the iconic video game's history.

Yet Jackson isn't satisfied with his all-time speed rating of 96 in the latest roster update, which surpasses Michael Vick's 95 rating from the 2004 edition of the game.

"It still is low. But it is what it is," Jackson said Wednesday. He added, "I'm focused on winning right now."

It's hard to argue with Jackson, who has devastated defenses on the ground in his second season in the NFL.

The MVP front-runner is ninth in rushing yards with 876, his 7.1 yards per carry lead the league, and he's racked up six scores with his legs.

On his current pace, Jackson will finish the regular season with 1,274 rushing yards and shatter Vick's previous single-season quarterback record of 1,039 set in 2004.

To celebrate Jackson's rating, Vick presented his fellow signal-caller with shoes that featured his new speed mark and "Not bad for a RB" - a reference to pre-draft critics who suggested Jackson wasn't a good enough thrower to make it in the NFL.

"Take it and run with it," Vick said. "Take it and run with it. It's a cool feature, man, one that nobody can take away from you."
