Air New Zealand has engaged in a provocative Twitter exchange with a customer who was disgruntled with the company's use of te reo MAori.

MAori is one of New Zealand's three official languages and currently experiencing a revival in popularity and usage, with long waiting lists for te reo classes around the country.
