centOS term. can ping but firefox cannot reach www.google.com

its a centOS 6 on virtual box.
please see the attachment.
I added local service provider's name server, my router and also host server in
/etc/resolve.conf
Now I can ping google/yahoo.. but can to reach there with firefox.

It takes long time for ping to start coming back with response. Please check image 2 for details.
