Amid a disappointing 2019 campaign culminating in a 2-9 record, the Washington Redskins may be looking at drastic changes.

Redskins owner Daniel Snyder understands adjustments must be made and is currently evaluating president Bruce Allen's status with the team, sources told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

League sources added Snyder believes Allen's involvement in football operations is hurting the franchise's bottom line, according to NBC Sports' JP Finlay.

Allen was hired by Washington in 2009 as executive vice president and general manager. He was promoted to president in 2014 but later relinquished his duties as general manager in 2016.

Since the executive took control of the Redskins, his team has accumulated a 61-93 record with no playoff wins and two NFC East titles.

Snyder is often quick to lead changes to Washington's coaching staff, but Allen has long avoided the hot seat despite his lack of success.
