Firefox using more ram than chromium, and causes higher cpu temps, why?

Hi

I've been using mainly chromium as web browser, but once in a while I try to switch to firefox, because I like the way it feels. But everytime I start noticing higher RAM usage with firefox and also after closing firefox(and checking that there is nothing related to it) There is more RAM used than after running chromium and closing it.

When I'm only using pc for web browsing and maybe some text editign or other light weight usage. My overal RAM usage goes like this.

After boot:
~800-900MB

Launching chromium:
~1.0 - 1.2GB
Launching firefox
~1.2 - 1.4GB

Having pc on and chroimum running for ~6h
~1.3 - 1.7GB
Same with firefox
~2.0 - 2.3GB

After closing chromium
~<=1.1GB
After closing firefox
~1.1 - 1.4GB

The ram usage doesn't affect anything I do but if someone got some sort of explanation why there is so clear difference, I would be happy.
------------------------------------

Other "problem" I have with firefox is that when I watch something from youtube my CPU(and I think also GPU, but not sure about that one) temps get cleary higher than with chromium. I've tried this add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...anced-h264ify/
to block everything else than h264 video type and I've also tried to block 60fps videos.
While watchin videos in youtube my CPU temps with chromium are <50C(122F) and with firefox <58C(136F). And this is slightly annoying because CPU cooler starts making more noice.

So I don't have an actual or specific question, but if someone has an idea what I'm talking about or what causes this behaviour, please be kind and share you thoughts:)latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=aC0oedxlc6Y:u8w4rX2LaKQ:F7zBnMy latest?i=aC0oedxlc6Y:u8w4rX2LaKQ:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=aC0oedxlc6Y:u8w4rX2LaKQ:gIN9vFwaC0oedxlc6Y
