The San Francisco 49ers could be without defensive end Dee Ford and cornerback Richard Sherman until the playoffs, while center Weston Richburg will miss the rest of the season.

All three standouts were injured Sunday in a win over the New Orleans Saints that vaulted San Francisco into the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan estimated that Ford will miss at least three weeks after re-aggravating a hamstring injury, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner. He added that Sherman will likely be sidelined for a couple of weeks with a hamstring strain. Richburg suffered a torn patella tendon.

Ford sat out two games with an injured hamstring before returning versus the Saints. He has 6.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in 11 games.

Sherman has 11 pass breakups and three interceptions - the most he's snagged in a season since 2016 - over 13 contests.

Richburg started every game this year. The 28-year-old is in the second season of a five-year contract.
