Suspend working intermittently, Ubuntu 19.10, pm-utils semi-fixes it.

Ubuntu 19.10 with vanilla Gnome, happens on other distos as well, but never on Mint for some reason. So the issue is when the computer enters suspend, the CPU and power lights stay on, but the OS enters suspend, meaning you have to hard reset to get out of it. I installed pm-utils which semi-fixed it, lemme explain: "sudo pm-suspend" always works to suspend, executing it acts sort of like a refresher to make suspend work, while suspending/restarting from the Gnome controls gives a small chance of breaking it again, it could last one suspend, or it could last dozens, anyway executing pm-suspend makes Gnome suspend controls work for a while before randomly breaking again.
I did this script and made it executable, which didn't help anything, it's still sitting there now.
