Giants' Jenkins tweets insult to fan while sitting out practice
While the New York Giants were practicing Wednesday, injured cornerback Janoris Jenkins was taking on his critics.
Jenkins - who's sidelined with an ankle injury - fired off an insulting remark to a fan on Twitter who criticized him for lauding his personal stats amid New York's nine-game losing streak.

Giants head coach Pat Shurmur appeared displeased with Jenkins' comment when asked about it following the session.
"I was just made aware of it as I was going through the injury report. He shouldn't be tweeting during practice," Shurmur said.
After a 31-13 defeat to the Green Bay Packers in Week 13, Jenkins publicly voiced his unhappiness with the team for not allowing him to shadow the opposing team's top receiver this season.
"It's common sense," Jenkins said. "I'm on the left side of the field all game. I get two passes thrown my way. All the top corners in the league travel. Rabbit doesn't travel anymore."
