VirtualBox 6.1 - not working full screen and 3D acceleration

Affects linux distros that I tested (Slackware, antix MX Linux) and windows 8:
setting default VMSVGA and enabling 3D acceleration kills full screen VM client.
Immune to the problems are:
FreeBSD (own implementation of VirtualBox client)
OpenBSD no support for Virtualbox at all (but runs in full screen)
I wonder if someone knows how to fix the issue with VMSVGA and enabling 3D acceleration full screen in linux?
