There are only three slates left to hit big on player props as the NFL season winds down. Now that we're starting to heat up, here's what's on tap for this weekend.
Kyler Murray under 226.5 passing yardsMurray's legs help him improvise when he's pressured, but it's drastically affected his passing numbers. He's averaging 190.1 passing yards per game against teams that rank inside the top 10 in adjusted sack rate; against everyone else, he averages 274.1. The Browns sit No. 9 in that category, so I'll fade Murray yet again as the rookie quarterback's stats taper off down the stretch.
Zach Ertz over 5.5 catchesErtz is seemingly on an island as Philadelphia's skill corps continues to be ravaged by injuries. We saw a depleted group take another hit last week when Alshon Jeffery exited versus the Giants. He's since been shut down for the season with a foot injury. It's bad news for the offense as a whole but good news for Ertz's stock. He's seen north of 12 targets per game without Jeffery on the field and should see similar volume against the Redskins, who have allowed opposing quarterbacks to complete 73% of their passes to tight ends.
Eli Manning over 1.5 touchdown passesManning actually looked decent Monday. After registering 203 yards and a pair of passing touchdowns in the rain against the Eagles, the veteran quarterback has a chance to make a splash in front of the home crowd Sunday. He'll see the Dolphins' defense, which has allowed multiple touchdowns in 11 of its 13 games this season.
Jarvis Landry over 73.5 receiving yardsIt took Landry a while to get going, but he's officially on a heater. After surpassing 75 receiving yards just once over his first seven games, he's done so in four of the last five. While everyone's quick to play a tight end against the Cardinals, don't disregard their issues containing receivers in the slot, where Landry takes more than half his snaps.
Kenny Golladay longest reception over 25.5 yardsGolladay's quietly morphed into a deep threat as the season's progressed. He's had a catch go for 34 yards or longer in six of his last seven and appears to be a go-to option for third-string quarterback David Blough, who's connected with Golladay 10 times over the last two games. The receiver will likely see a larger target share with Marvin Jones on the shelf and should be good for at least one big play against the Bucs' defense, which ranks No. 17 in explosive pass rate allowed.
