Dak Prescott's right index finger still doesn't have a confirmed diagnosis.

After Fox NFL analyst Troy Aikman said Sunday that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback had a "hairline fracture on the top of his index finger," sources told ESPN's Todd Archer that the signal-caller doesn't have a fracture on his finger.

On Monday, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett didn't confirm whether or not Prescott broke his finger.

"I don't want to get into the medical part of it," Garrett said, according to Archer. "I do know he has a little injury to his index finger. Again, he works through it and does what he needs to do."

The 26-year-old pivot suffered the injury against the Chicago Bears on Dec. 5 after hitting his index finger on a helmet after a pass attempt. He didn't miss any practices following the ailment and tossed 15 completions for 212 yards with two touchdowns in Dallas' 44-21 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

"Dak's a physically tough guy. Dak's a mentally tough guy, so whatever he's dealing with, (he) hasn't let a lot of people know about it," Garrett added. "He goes out and does his job, and he was able to do that again (Sunday)."

The 7-7 Cowboys snapped their three-game losing streak with the win over the Rams in Week 15. Dallas can clinch the NFC East title for the second straight season with a win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
