[SOLVED] Firefox - restore bookmarks?
by Jason_25 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4WTZG)
I should have realized this was going to be a problem when even the backup options were not clear. They were something like save to a database file or save to an html. Big red flag right there. There should only be one way to backup bookmarks.
I saved to a database file I think? With Firefox 50-something there is no option to import bookmarks and the UI is completely different from what I am using now. ALL tutorials I have followed asked me to choose items I do not have.
The problem seems to be there is no way to open the "bookmarks manager" or "bookmarks library" or whatever the crap it is called.
If I have not made it clear enough I hate Firefox and all mainstream browsers. This post should in no way be construed as supporting said browser. How do I restore backed up bookmarks?
