It appears Tom Coughlin's firing may be the only major personnel move the Jacksonville Jaguars are planning in the near future.

There's a "good chance" head coach Doug Marrone and general manager David Caldwell return to Jacksonville in 2020, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The report is somewhat surprising, as many around the league expected Marrone to be fired following the 2019 season. But owner Shad Khan has shown patience in the past, and maintaining staff continuity may be his preferred outcome.

Marrone is wrapping up his third full season as the Jaguars' head coach. He's earned a 21-27 record and an appearance in the 2018 AFC Championship Game. His job appeared to be in jeopardy with Jacksonville sitting last in the AFC South for a second straight season.

The 55-year-old has also been managing issues among his players stemming from Coughlin's hard-line style, sources told Rapoport.

Caldwell, meanwhile, is no stranger to the hot seat. His team has recorded just one winning season since he was hired in 2013, and the Jaguars whiffed on several high-profile draft picks during the early portion of his tenure.
