Hello, and seasons greetings. I'm a semi 'retired' IT tech of almost 30 years, started using linux distros for testing in 2004, and more actively in 2010. I have multiple computers around the house, all but one run distros of various types instead of Windows. My current favorite (though a bit dated now from the looks of things) is skywave linux as I am also into SDR.
