Christian McCaffrey joined an exclusive group during the Carolina Panthers' final game of the 2019 season.

The star running back became the third player in NFL history to reach 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in the same campaign, joining Roger Craig and Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk.

McCaffrey finished the season with 1,387 rushing yards and 1,005 receiving yards after his performance against the New Orleans Saints in Week 17. Entering the game, he needed just 67 yards through the air to reach the milestone.

Additionally, the 23-year-old's 2,393 yards from scrimmage this season rank third in NFL history behind Faulk's 1999 campaign (2,429) and Chris Johnson's 2009 season (2,509).

Craig racked up 1,050 rushing yards and 1,016 receiving yards in 1985, while Faulk had 1,381 rushing yards and 1,048 receiving yards in 1999.

While Craig and Faulk played alongside all-time greats like Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Kurt Warner, and Isaac Bruce, McCaffrey has been tasked with carrying a below-average Panthers team that lost Cam Newton early in the season.
