What to do with sites that block VPNs
by binkyd from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4X6KM)
(If this question is not appropriate for this site, would you please direct me onward?)
What can one do with sites like Netflix, who block addresses associated with VPNs?
One solution would be address-spoofing? Unpleasant, but surely if spammers can spoof addresses for nefarious purposes, which we apparently can't stop, then legitimate users who have paid for a service, should be able to obfuscate their IP addresses, right? (If I've paid, then they know who I am, basically; obviously they just want to track us to make even more money....)
So for those who pay for online stuff, how can we get around these blatant attempts to invade our privacy?
