Calendar application suggestion?
by Missouri Redneck from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4X8EG)
Hello, I am looking for some calendar application that can do the following
- Define events that recur every n days, recurrence might be for years or indefinite.
- Define different actions (reminders) on a per-events basis. For example, play a sound, display a pop-up window.
- It would be nice being able to run the calendar program in the background in some manner.
Right now I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird, which atleast fulfills the first requirement, but the important shortcoming is that it doesn't seem able to define actions on a per-events basis.
Do you know any calendar application which is able to do the above? Thanks for your advice!
