Virtualbox user data collection or Telemetry
by joseph123 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4XC22)
Hello all, I'm looking for suggestion in regarding for using Virtualbox for privacy purpose.
is it safe to use virtualbox for privacy purpose, there are tails and whonix kind of tor connected VM's for virtualbox to protect our PRIVACY but if you had ever read the User agreement when installing extension pack they had stated that they share the user data to U.S Government End User and many other telemetry issues. So even the users who completely migrated from Windows to Linux won't have any purpose of privacy or anonymity if they are using Virtualbox because they shares data including the HOST hardware info and so on other datas to US GOVT, like Windows does.
Thank you
