In a recent thread, TurboBlaze noted that

I don't use a desktop so didn't know anything about this LTS thing, but it looks like a plausible reason.

It made me think about Xfce. 4.14 has not appeared yet in current (or has it and I missed it?)

A naive search indicated that Xfce 4.16 (Final Release) is currently planned for "Around June 2020"

Does it suggest that we should expect Slackware at best in the second half of 2020? Or is there any issue with the current state of 4.14?

Again I am not familiar with the domain; just trying to figure out what could be roadblocks for Slackware.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=V3BxVoKUCxY:SzDnLJDnYAU:F7zBnMy latest?i=V3BxVoKUCxY:SzDnLJDnYAU:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=V3BxVoKUCxY:SzDnLJDnYAU:gIN9vFwV3BxVoKUCxY
